Paragraph 1-C refers to the Skeet Field Layout Diagram. The text provides the elevation for each station within nine inch of station 8, plus or minus three inches for target emerge height. The D-size drawing replaces the small Win field drawings that were difficult to read in earlier years. This is especially useful when working on large-scale projects. NSSA has the diagram available at $25
Olympic skeet
Since 1968 the Olympic skeet is an annual event in the games. The international competition closely mirrors domestic competition. In the sport, teams of six shooters fire a fixed course of 25 targets from eight firing stations. Each shooter starts with the buttstock of a shotgun at their hip height. The targets emerge from throwing machines on either side of the field. There are two types - singles and duals. Each target can be shot by shooters, one at a time or twice. Each target must be accurately aimed at by the shooter.
The field measures three to four metres in width. The rules for the Olympic Skeet are more complicated than those of other disciplines. Maximum load of the cartridge is 24g and shot size must not exceed 2.5mm. The shooting distance is approximately 75 meters (230yds), but can vary from one game to another. You can shoot targets at different angles. It is possible to shoot from distances of 76 meters (230yds) or 83yds.

Trap ranges
Before you can plan a trap shooting range or skeet, it is important to determine the size of the land parcel. For a skeet range, a 600-yard parcel of land should suffice. You will then need to install a semicircular skeet firing line along the long side. You should place skeet shooting stations at approximately eight feet and thirteen meters from each other.
The target area can be used to determine the distance. At least 50 yards will be needed for each target and 20 to each trap. Some shooting games may require more land. Then, make sure the shooting range follows the standard range specifications, which are outlined by the Amateur Trapshooting Association. These specifications include both shotfall and walkway areas. The aim of these specifications is to make sure the range is safe for players and shooters alike.
Target sequences
The Olympic skeet is considered one of the most challenging sports. In competition, a random timer releases the clay target a zero to three seconds after the call. Each team must shoot a series of targets in a sequence in order to win. The fields dimensions and target sequences of skeet are variable. Below is a list listing possible fields as well as target sequences for a competitive match.
A skeetfield is made up of two trap houses, also known as shooting stations. Two houses of this type are located on each side of a shooting field. The trap 10 feet above the ground holds the high house targets, while the trap 3 1/2 feet below the ground holds the low house targets. The target sequences vary depending on the competition. The high house target will land in a higher location than the low house target.

Safety
Skeet shooting requires that you have the appropriate safety dimensions. Sket fields are usually placed in open areas so everyone can see them. Generally, skeet shots are taken from about twenty to 25 yards away. Usually, you will use small pellets that have open chokes. Before you start, here are some safety considerations.
